Message from Hifz Section Coordinator

At the Hifz Section, our primary focus is to nurture the spiritual and academic growth of our students through the memorization and understanding of the Holy Qur’an. We are committed to creating a supportive and conducive environment that encourages students to develop a deep connection with the divine words of Allah.

Our team of experienced Nazimeen and Qaris are passionate about instilling love and reverence for the Qur’an in our students. We believe in fostering a holistic approach to education, where character development, discipline, and a strong foundation in Islamic principles go hand in hand with academic excellence.

Throughout our program, students are exposed to a comprehensive curriculum that includes the memorization of the Holy Quran, Tajweed (correct pronunciation and recitation), academics (English, Urdu, Math’s & Science) and the application of Islamic ethics in their daily lives. We utilize modern teaching methodologies and resources to ensure effective learning and engagement.

We are proud of our students’ achievements, not only in their memorization of the Qur’an but also in their personal growth and development as individuals. We encourage their participation in extracurricular activities, community service, fostering a sense of social responsibility and an appreciation for diversity.

We believe in open communication and collaboration with parents, as we consider them valuable partners in their child’s educational journey. Regular parent-teacher meetings, progress reports, and workshops are conducted to ensure a strong and supportive home-school connection.

Thank you for visiting our webpage and showing interest in the Hifz Section at TIS. Together, let us strive to empower our students with the knowledge and wisdom of the Holy Qur’an, preparing them to become righteous individuals and contributing members of society.

Mr. Hasham Iqbal
Section Coordinator Hifz Academic

The Intellect School takes pride in running a unique system of integrating Hifz with Academics. Students get to learn regular school academics and experience co-curricular activities alongside Hifz.

The programme is offered primarily to boys studying at the Intellect who have passed their Grade III. Students opting for Hifz are selected by the Hifz Section prior to commencement of the 3 year Hifz programme.  During the ensuing three years along with doing the Hifz, students get a regular though reduced daily input of academics in the core subjects covering the syllabus of Grade IV and partly Grade V.

After completion of Hifz, students are inducted into our Fast Track yearlong programme H2 which covers the syllabus of Grade V and VI in all subjects. Students who successfully complete the Fast Track programme are then incorporated into our mainstream schooling in Grade VII.

Progression

Upon completion of Hifz and Girdaan within the stipulated time – that is, three years – students are promoted to the Fast Track Programme H2 (already discussed above). With successful completion of H2 the student enters the regular school stream in Grade VII.

Students who are unable to complete their Hifz on time are transferred to Special Huffaz Unit (SHU-A) where they undergo studies of the core subjects and are then inducted in to the mainstream schooling.
